The Zoo Trip

Last Saturday we went with my brother Seth and his fun wife Dawnise, and their two girls to the zoo. It was suppose to be an Easter thing, but they had to move it to Sunday and they weren't getting the word out so well. Though, it was great fun! Thanks Seth and Dawnise for the fun afternoon.
Ty-kell feeding the giraffe.Kaylie feeding the giraffe. It was so hard to get a picture this giraffe was so fast in eating the food. There is this really big giraffe slide the kids absolutely love! That was the hight of their day.One of Amea's favorite things is slides.Ty-kell putting on dingo ears...At least I think their dingo. His head is not big enough so he kept moving from one side to another trying to get both ears in the thing ....it was pretty funny.Amea is wearing down, by the end both Amea and Kamrie were out!

My Friend....

My Friend the fish died last night... Ty-kell was pretty sad, but he is happy now that the fish gets to be with Jesus and his trantula. I thought he would have a harder time with it. But as he was flushing his fish down the toilet, he said "Bye fishy, he is in Heaven now mommy". We explained to Ty-kell that is how we burry fish is in the toilet. I just hope he doesn't think that is how we burry all living things when they die.

My Friend is sick!

This is Ty-kell's fish. We decided to get him a fish because he has been asking for a puppy and we told him he needed to show us that he could take care of a smaller animal, before he got a puppy. Ty-kell named his fish My Friend. He loves to wake up and say good morning, and feed My Friend. Yesterday he started getting white stuff on him, and if any of you know fish, that means he has ick. We were explaining to Ty-kell last night that his fish was sick and that we were going to get some medicine for him, but that his fish still may die. When I told him this he said " He go to Heaven with my trantula?". Ty-kell has been very interested in where things go when they die. I told Ty-kell that if he did die he would go to heaven with his trantula. Then I said to Ty-kell maybe if we pray to Heavenly Father, he can help your fish. So as he was saying his prayer "Heavenly Father my fish needs to be better" I was fighting back the tears. As a sweet little boy was pleading to his father in Heaven for fish. I am so thankful for those sweet tender moments of faith. And as he was going to bed we were hearing from his room. "Heavenly Father, Please don't let my fish die"... I love the spirit Ty-kell brings and I am so grateful for his childlike faith, to help my testimony to grow. And I am greatful for his fish....My Friend.

Haircuts

So here are the haircuts....Don't they look so cute.

Alright so just now I decided to come upstairs to update my postings because the kids were playing so good together. And just as I am getting started I here Ty-kell yell up the stairs. "Mom come down Mea is doing something naughty." Me as I am walking down the stairs " What is she doing" Ty-kell " She is in the garbage". So I am thinking not to bad, we just empty the garbage this morning. This what I found:
Garbage not so much.

Today

Alright, so being a mom is fun and most times your children teach you some things that you didn't know:
1. Amea can officially fling herself into the bathtub.
2. Amea is more stubborn than her mother. (surprising I know)
3. Ty-kell is very good at missing the toilet and peeing on his pants while sitting on the toilet.
4. Ty-kell makes me laugh everyday.
5. I wouldn't change anything.

Oh, and on a side note. One of Ty-kell's funny was... as I was cutting Amea's hair Ty-kell asks.

Ty-kell "Mommy is it Amea's turn"
Me "Yes, Ty-kell mommy is going to cut Amea's hair"
Ty-kell "Will she still be a girl Mommy" "Mea needs to be a girl"
Me "Yes she still will be a girl"

Hide N' Seek

Hide and Go Seek is Ty-kell's favorite game. Well yesterday as we were getting ready to go, the kids starting playing Hide and Go Seek, and I think that Amea loves it just as much. The video doesn't show it as well, but before I started taping as soon as I started counting she would crawl as fast as she could to go hide. This taping took her a little longer.

S'mores anyone!?

We wanted to do something fun with the kids so we did make-shift s'mores. We warmed some chocolate in our fondue pot and let the kids dip marshmallows. Amea's favorite part was putting the marshmallow on the stick and sticking in the pot.
Ty-kell's favorite part was dipping and eating CHOCOLATE!
