The Traditions begin

yesterday was the Sunday before Christmas, and in my family the boys were their lavalavas so I made Ty-kell a little person one it was so cute. I also made the boys matching ties. Then we were at The Petty's for their traditional Christmas gift exchange it was fun.

Sing-a-long

So one morning Tyrone was sitting with Ty-kell singing him songs, and then Ty-kell wanted to sing-a-long it was so cute I had to take a video.

First Food

So after we went to our 4 month doctor appointment with Ty-kell the doctor told us we could start him on rice cereal. It was kinda funny he wasn't so sure about it. I don't have great pictures, because Tyrone and I have not mastered doing something with Ty-kell and taking pictures so here are the few we did get. You can't really tell but he had it everywhere.

Don't get to comfortable!

This morning I came home from seminary before school to take Ty-kell to his doctors appointment. While Aimee was getting ready I was helping watch Ty-kell and gathering things together. So to keep my son warm I put him in our bed and he made himself right at home as you can see! He looked so cute that I had to capture the moment.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was fun. This year Ty-kell and Dallin were pilgrams. Daddy put it on him as a loin cloth, it was funny. We had a delious dinner, that Tyrone's Mom made. Then we played games and watched a movie. Tyrone went shooting with the boys. Ty-kell was sad he could not come. Then we went over to my parents how to see my sister, and her family she thought the new hair look that Ty-kell is now sporting (he is rubbing off hair around his head) was funny and so she made him look funny by twisting his hair.

Pie in the Face!

Ha... I did it. I knew I could. I finally was able to make a pie all on my own with out my mom's help. I was never able to get in the crust in the pan without breaking it. But I did it. I made it for our friends when they came over for dinner, and they loved it and said it was delious.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please take your seats for what you are about to see could knock you off your feet. It is the wonderful, the magniciant, the amazing Ty-kell one boy wonder. He is the smallest scooter in the world.
Using only his toes and his feet... he is able to move at an astonishing speed of 1 foot every 3 minutes.

Thank you Grandma!

So Ty-kell's grandma and grandpa clayton got him a little present. It was suppose to be his Christmas present, but let's just say he got it early. He loves it. And he just wanted to say thank you to his grandma and grandpa. They does so much for him. And we love them so much. So, thank you.
You can't really tell but they got him a play gym. It is baby einstein and he loves all the colors and everything to look at.

Concentration!

Ty-kell is getting to that age that he is noticing the world around him. I think it is the cutest thing when he concentrates so hard to grab something. These are pictures of him trying to get his blanket to his mouth. It was so cute I had to take some pictures. Ty-kell is so much fun.His facial expressions in the pictures don't fully show what he looks like when he is concentrating. Though, he is still so cute.

Like Fathers Like Sons

So we went to my neice's birthday party. And Tyrone and his brother Cameron were holding eachothers babies. It was so cute I had to take a picture, and when you take one you have to take another one. Then Michele and I were talking and we turn around that the little boys are holding hands. It was so precious.

November Girls Day Out!

So our girls day is not really what it is because we take our handsome boys with us. Though, that is fun, and the grandmas love it. Today we went to Beyond Bread, and it was delious. Then of course, we had to take pictures of the little guys. They are so cute. Dallin this month was not so sure but he did keep the same pose the whole time. Ty-kell was being a ham and just smile at who ever would talk to him. He takes after his mother in the fact that he likes to be the center of attention and he likes to be talk to. This month Ty-kell was the eating monster. Which as you can see Dallin didn't mind so much... They are so much fun now. Dallin was starting to get sad toward the end and so Ty-kell wanted to make him feel better so he gave him a little hug I think that help boast his spirits some.

The Finished Masterpieces

So I didn't take these pictures right after we did them and in Arizona they shrivel very fast. So here is our family pumpkin patch. Ty-kell's is a baby jack-o-lantern. Mine is a cute little spider with his web. And Tyrone's is a very scary haunted house on a hill... notice the bats. So thank you Kimberly for helping me remember to post the pictures.

Trunk-or-Treat

So I am an awful mother because I forgot to take pictures on Ty-kell's first Halloween experience. Luckly Grandma Clayton did take a couple of pictures so here is the little Lion. Tyrone went as a lion tamer and I went as the lovely assistant it was fun to see all the little children dressed up in there costumes. It will be so exciting that next year we get to take him around. I am going to be a little proud but I thought his costume turned out so cute... I made it. Poor Tyrone the little lion got out of control. But hey it happens.... I did pretty good on the make-up too eh.

Carving My First Pumpkin

So this year even though our little munchkin is not big enough to remember what he did for his first halloween experience we are bound and determined to have a ton of fun. So yesterday we carved our pumpkins. In Arizona you have to do it very close to Halloween because they rote very fast because of the heat. Well let us just say that Ty-kell had a ton of fun, well at least as much fun as a 3 month old could have. He just got right in there feeling all the "googies". As you can see he wasn't so sure about it at first. I will post later what his turned out to look like. He got tired so he went to bed as soon as it was done. Tyrone and I also carved some pumpkins.... The grand showing will be later.

Our First Family Vacation

So I need to do better posting closer to the event. But the weekend of the eighteenth we were all able to visit my family in Idaho for my Grandpa's 75 birthday. It was so much fun. and it was great to see Ty-kell with his great-grandpa. it was great and the little munchkin did so well on the plane. This much needed vacation was a nice break, and I loved getting to spend so much time with my husband. it was also great to be with my brother and sister. And Ty-kell loved all the snuggles everyone was so willing to give him. He loves his snuggle time. Tyrone had a blast driving grandpa's old cars.

Combining my own hair!

Yesterday while we were getting ready for church Tyrone was combing Ty-kell's hair to look like Daddy's hair. Tyrone then gave Ty-kell the brush to finish the job... it was so cute to see my little man all grown up. Needless to say he did a great job. I think he is close to getting the concept down...

2 to 1

Dallin is Ty-kell's cousin. They are almost exactly 1 month apart. Ty-kell was born on August 3rd and Dallin was born September 4th. The Grandmas wanted to take pictures of the boys, and the moms got lunch out of the deal. That day Ty-kell was having a hard day so he wasn't very happy, but we got some fun pictures. Toward the end both boys thought they were getting hungry so Dallin started eating Ty-kell, and least to say Ty-kell didn't want to be eaten. Ty-kell is now two months old, and he i getting so big. We went to the doctors on Friday and he is now 9 pounds 8 ounces, well on his way to being quarterback, though not well on his way to being a lineman. He is growing tall he is now to the towering height 22 1/4 inches. The other news that is not so exciting is he may have a cataracs on his left eye, so that may mean surgury. Though, we are glad we found out now, and not later. Higher recovery rates for his vision.
