Wednesday Morning

I have a little extra time on my hands in the morning because I have finished all my lectures and just have my finals left HURRAY! It is fun to see what Aimee and Ty-kell do while I am gone. One of the things Ty-kell loves to do is read lots and lots of stories. I decided to pull out the camera and capture the monent. I got one picture before Ty-kell dicovered what I was doing.

He then proceeded to purform for the camera for about thirty secound and then had to come and see how it looked.

What a fun way to spend the morning. We love Ty-kell and the joy he brings to our family. He is such a sweet little boy.

Eggs and Bunnies

The Easter Bunny came to our house last night, and left a wonderful basket for Ty-kell. He was so excited to look through his basket. He got a sticker book, stickers, and chalk for a chalkboard that we have lost all the chalk. The chalkboard we take with us to church so Ty-kell can color. Also the sticker book and the stickers are for church to help Ty-kell stay reverent. Isn't the Easter Bunny the greatest.
And Ty-kell loves it.

We also dyed eggs this week Ty-kell did such a good job, even though some of them ended up really cracked and he looked like an easter egg himself. He had so much fun.

Stopping and smelling the flowers...

Yesterday I needed to run to the grocery store for some flour because we were all out. I was in a hurry because Tyrone would be home soon and I needed to make this cake for my Relief Society meeting. Ty-kell is very indepent and he likes to walk around and shop. Well yesterday it was just him and me and I just needed to pick up flour, so I didn't get a cart and let him walk. When we walked in he saw the flowers and he stopped to smell every single one it felt like. And there were a lot. Then we got our flour, and we were headed out when again he stopped to smell the flowers. Everyone standing there thought he was so cute. Then all of the sudden it hit me, really, how often do I not stop to smell the flowers? I am so grateful for Ty-kell and how sweet he is. And how he has reminded me it is more important to stop and smell the flowers, because maybe one day there wont be any flowers.
