So we've started feeding Amea Rice.... This is the first time and as you can see she likes it. We made our own homemade rice. You do this by putting some rice in your blender and blend it up until it is a fine powder. Then you boil a cup of water and add 1/4 of cup of rice. It is pretty think so for young babies you have to add more liquid. Unfortunatly I do not feel that rice cereal this way is good for babies.
When they are older as you can see they love. We are now giving Amea the store bought instant rice cereal and she likes it a lot more and it is much easier to eat. The homemade rice cereal is beady and hard swallow. As soon as we started her on the instant rice her bellies were full and she slept for 12 hours at night. Oh, it was bliss.

Isn't it wonderful when you can start giving them solids? Full tummies are a good thing when they are so little and growing so fast. I love it!
She looks so tiny in that high chair, and for her first time she is eating it really well!!!-she was ready for that weeks ago :)-
In the last picture she looks like she is in a Food Coma. So Full!!
